I wanna be honest. I love Xbox, I've been using Xbox since the first one came out bundled with the original Halo game.
I bought a couple of 360 and then, once the one was released, I bought an Xbox one as well. I used my old Xbox one for a year, and then I pre-ordered the ONE S.
I don't really understand if it's just me, but I find the new one (I'm talking of both Original and S) to be slow.
Booting up: Slow Start a game download: Slow Open friends activity: Slow Power off: Slow
Now, before you start to get mad at me and say "you have to enable "always on" feature for boot up time and everything else is slow because of your internet connection...", let me tell you that I already know all of this.
What I don't understand is how is it even possible that with a pretty fast connection (i have a 20mb connection plugged in using an ethernet cable cat6, so the internet it's not slow), the console is still quite laggy in navigation.
Don't get me wrong, games are fine and there are quite some nice improvements between this one and the original, especially with noise and heating (my old one was getting really hot and quite noisy when trying to lower its temperature).
Don't get me wrong, I still love Xbox, I just feel that it needs improvements for certain aspects. It may be that all these issues are on the software side (pretty certain that they are), but even when updates are released, I don't see any improvement in speed and navigation.
Since everything needs to be connected, I feel like some improvements need to be taken to provide a better experience when using Xbox.
Something else that really drove me mad, was the fact that I purchased a 2TB console, and the available space, on first boot, was 1.5TB!
Again, I know that the partition type used by Microsoft eats up a lot of space, but 500gb is the same size my previous Xbox had available as storage space!
I think 500gb only for the software is definitely too much!! Another aspect I hope they will tackle at some point in the future.
Overall, i like my Xbox, and I'll never replace it with anything else.
