  After getting flooded, I’m now paranoid about having any kind of electric socket at ground level, so instead of a trailing extension lead, I wanted one that sits above the floor, to buy a bit of time to unplug stuff if it happens again. Saw this one at a reasonable price and thought I’d try it. I’m very pleased with it. The plug is a normal size so doesn’t obscure the other socket in a double power outlet, and the switches are integrated into the top of the unit so it looks quite sleek. The blue indicator lights are a bonus so you can see at a glance what’s switched on or off.
