- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 June 2021Bought this ÍøÆغÚÁÏ's basics vacuum cleaner 2019 and it did the job for 20 months. Neat little thing, (not bagless, not too noisy) done the job....Then out of the blue it stops working, the variable suction power just started to do it's own thing from Max to Min so I had the leave the variable switch in between with meant less suction.
It also started to make a knocking sound (not sure why) but for the price (I think it was purchased at £44.00) £44.00 ÷ 20months I'd say I got what I paid for. R.I.P amazon basics. I'm going to try out Russell Hobbs as they have a 2year guarantee and I was advised by customer service that the amazon basics only have a 30day policy. Anyway, if you need a quick job done or want to vacuum your car every now and then... basics will do the job otherwise save up for a Henry or Vaxx I guess.
