This thing is great. You need to flatten it out first or it'll just curl up under the floorboards (as other reviewers have encountered) My tip for this is curl it up in reverse overnight. Then, take it and lie it as flat is you reasonably can and use a heatgun/hair dryer to make it fully flatten. Once cooled it will retain this shape so long as you store it flat. For snaking cables it's great. I ran a network cable under a laminate floor from one room, round a corner into a hallway and along into another room with just a 10mm hole drilled in the floor and one floorboard up in the destination room. Ordinarily this would be a bear of a job snaking past gas pipes and through sleeper walls but this made it easy. Some have said a length of 2.5mm twin & earth will achieve the same, I've used this method many times over the years and what you find is once the twin & earth hits a snag/obstacle it just bends. This cable 'tongue' has enough rigidity and spring to it that you can simply shimmy and jiggle it through/past most tricky obstacles.
