  I've just used this for the first time. Three pumps and it starts drawing the wine as normal. Empties the demijohn within a couple of minutes and a lot quicker than usual due to the wider syphon tube. There's a removable sediment guard on the end for when taking the wine off sediment which I have just done which works a lot better the usual guards. If bottling and the wine has no sediment in, this can be easily pulled off to completely empty the demijohn. As for cleaning, just pump steriliser through it then clean water. May seem a bit expensive but once used you won't regret.
