  Bought this to improve the cleaning capabilities for my wood workshop vacuum.
  Was fed up emptying the vac dust bag and getting covered in dust....
  So saw some ideas on youtube on having a cyclone attached to the vac....and after considering lots of options went for this one mainly down to price but also the available adaptors and size....it is compact...but does a brilliant job....fitted it on top of a 30l blue airtight container...also bought a extra hose and with some creativity with some electrical tape to make the hose wider as able to get the whole solution working.
  So if your looking for a workshop solution - this is a great cyclone.
