Firstly this arrived in a random box for pampers nappies for some reason,I'm guessing it was a returned item at some point.
I opened the box, found the black case in tact with cover on so thought nothing of it, all looked well. I then open it up and attached the butane gas, switched the nozzle to secure the gas in place, I turned on the gas by turning the second circular nozzle anticlockwise as stated to ignite the gas. All went well, it light up. Shortly after I could see a orange flame under the stove, which is not normal in most cases, it should be blue on top nothing from below.
Soon after the gas shot out like a backdraft on a fire. I immediately shut the gas off and removed it from the stove.
Upon closer inspection picture 1 shown from under the stove, shows that the copper pipe underneath is not where it should be, the small copper pipe should be in the circular hole in the centre, not in place at the very top. See picture 2 of its correct location once I moved it.
This could of been very dangerous for anyone buying this product. Thankfully I have bought many stoves over the years and have personal experience, so I was able to rectify the issue at hand.
Please amazon or the seller, please check the returns of products from customers for safety before allowing them to be resold.
Apart from the above safety issue. The stove works well, gives off an adequate low and high flame use.
And it was great to have the extra butane too. Each one in this deal should last around 4 hours on a low flame and about 2.5 to 3 hours on high.
