The design of this grinder is great in all aspects bar one. Once the beans are ground, you need to unplug the whole device to transport it to the coffee machine, or tip the contents into another receptacle to transfer. This issue could have been resolved by making the cap-lid ever so slightly bigger and then allowing the user to invert the whole machine to drop the grounds into the lid, unscrew and job done. Even if you have a plug near a coffee machine, the lead is quite short, maybe a meter at best. So that is the nuisance factor which dropped the star.

The only other element keeping it off a 5 star is that it is a small compartment. It is a compact unit, so if brewing 2 to 3 cups, the yield is OK. Anything more and you will need to grind another batch at maximum capacity.

The lid is a twist lock design and easy to manage.

The grind/power button is large and easy to press. The whole item is easier if you hold it in your hands rather than keep it on a surface, in my opinion. It is easy to hold and is not a big item.

The looks are pleasingly modern and it works quickly. A batch takes about 5 seconds. Be sure to shake the unit slightly between pulses, to get all the beans.
