  Nice compact size that is easy to power either by 6 AAA batteries supplied or connect to most usb supplies with supplied cable. Nice soft case also supplied to help keep clean and dust free. Light is fairly even but dose fade towards the edges as to be expected. But light is fine for illuminating at least four mounted 35mm slides at a time.
  I was able to position camera and phone over slides and take good pictures as intended.
  To improve on it. If it was possible to include adjustable multi colour LEDs. It would make a great light source for small scale ambient lighting in a photo light box.
