- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 January 2024I heard really good things about these and bought one in preparation for my baby's arrival. She will watch the pulsing light for a while and she gets so sleepy just doing that and enjoying the white noise. It really seems to help settle her at night. The noise turns stays on for a good length of time then shuts off automatically after a while and if baby stirs it detects the noise and starts the white noise up again immediately. We have it resting on top of our headboard and if it goes off before we are ready we just give it a tap or a nudge and it starts up again. The only thing I don't really like is that when the white noise stops and starts it does so very abruptly. It stops suddenly it can actually rouse you from your sleep a little bit especially if you're just drifting off, I think little one notices this too and disturbs her a bit, if we are quick enough we start it right back up again by tapping the device and she goes off again, but the sudden silence has disturbed me and my husband too. Then when it restarts it just starts up again at the same volume. It would be better if the white noise faded in and out rather than just stopping and starting. Overall a good gadget to have though and I am glad we have it.
