  Nice design - simple and easy to use. BUT, as someone else pointed out, unless you have a flat-bottomed mug this does not work very well. And most mugs do not have flat-bottoms - I don't have a single one so the coffee/tea does not stay very warm and nowhere near hot. I am now ordering a special mug to see if that works better - it should, as the base itself does get hot - but so far it is a bit disappointing.
  
  UPDATE: I have now got my flat-bottomed mug and it works brilliantly. So well that I have now bought another warmer plus another mug. The combo does exactly what I wanted and I am v pleased with the warmer - discrete and effective.
