- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 August 2022I got in touch with Trinordic who look like a proper outdoors company who know what they're doing. I've ordered 2 mats and the pump sack. My partner and I have just started travelling for a year around the world so these mats will get tested to their limits. I plan to update this review honestly as we use them a bit more throughout the next year. All I can say upon opening is that they are really lightweight in comparison to others I've used, super compact and comfy to lie on in a home environment. 5* on startup.
***Update 30/10/22***
We've now been using the mats fairly regularly for 3 months, in a range of different climates and environments. It's been super comfy on floors, decks and typical stoney/rough camp sites. It also seems to be quite robust and so far impervious to a bit of rolling around over sharper sticks/stones. It's worked well as an isolator from the ground in sub 0 conditions, where cold has generally been felt through the sleeping bag, not the ground. Now that we've been travelling with heavy backpacks, I'm really appreciating how light and compact it is. The pump sack is helpful for getting the mat inflated quickly but it can also be blown up by your mouth if you've left it elsewhere. Altogether, still really happy with the purchase and hope it continues to please.
