I was looking for a good quality alarm clock and the fact that this clock is USB powered was a real advantage as I have a spare USB socket at my bedside, but no mains socket spare. The item comes in strong packaging and the clock is bubble wrapped with a screen protector fitted. The clock illuminated in white with a very even distribution of light across the display. The illumination level can be set from one of the 3 available High, Medium & Low. The illumination level can also be set via 2-time channels 18:00 - 06:59 and the other 07:00 - 17:59 so the clock does not overly brighten the room and also making it easy to see in Daylight. If you like it completely dark at night then you have a sound operated mode that allows the display to go completely off, the display is easily reactivated with a tap or a clap. The clock has a CR2035 battery backup (Supplied). The alarm clock has 3 programs that can be set independently of each other, Ideal for 2 people and a weekend setting. The alarm sounds with an ascending alarm tone and is not a violent sound. The display is large and clear, it has relative humidity and temperature that can display in C or F. The product is made from real wood and has a satin finish.
