  I’ve purchased these before and they were fine - had to take some steps to reset the printer to get it to accept the cartridges and eventually was successful. The cartridges performed very well (no issues, with fit, colour, print quality), so when they ran out, I ordered some more. This time, unfortunately, whatever I try (full resets, leaving the printer disconnected etc.) I cannot get it to accept that these are compatible cartridges, so they are unusable. Consequently, the single star as unfortunately, despite previous positive experience, these seem to fail at the first hurdle. As for HP, after using their printers for over 30 years, I’ll be buying a different brand as the real issue is the software HP deploys to prevent the consumer using anything other than expensive HP inks.
