  I purchased this tape for the glass door on my wood burning stove. I noticed that the fire was burning a bit quicker than usual, then saw a tiny crack about an inch long in the far corner. I cut a piece of the tape slightly larger than needed with Sharp scissors, then applied to the crack. It amazingly seems to have mended the door. It's been on a month now, and door is still sealed so I'm happy!
