  I did not buy this for a baby's bath water ,, I bought it to prove to my landlord that the setting he has for my bath water is set to only 39C which is lukewarm for an adult. He disputed this and kept telling me it was set to the legal 43C .. I proved him wrong thanks to this ! It is an accurate thermometer
