  I purchased this soundbar about 3 years ago for £25. For the price, it is hard to beat the sound, and is probably as good as those 4 times its price (without the sub woofer, I hasten to add).
  
  This was going to be a temporary sound bar while I researched for a better one, however, after using it, I decided it was not worth going for a better one unless I was going to send well over a couple of hundred pounds. so, I kept it.
  
  It is generally robust, having been dropped once onto a wooden floor from table height while I was moving rooms and no damage; the bar kept playing. It is not small, but it isn't too long either. I never had it up full blast, but certainly had it loud and didn't notice anything but the most minor harmonic distortion.
  
  I exclusively used it connected to the computer via USB. The only real pain was if the computer wemt to sleep for more than an hour or so, it would turn off, and one had to turn it back on on awakenign the computer. First world minor inconvenience.
  
  The other thing I noticed today was that one has to be careful with the USB connection to the sound bar. Sadly, that is not robust and sligth pressure applied to the USB in jack broke the connector at the unit rendering it unusrable from my perspective. Also, it has stopped charging, so eventuially the battery will go flat and I will have to throw out the unit.
  
  Sadly, it is no longer in stock otherwise I would have bought another one. Now I have to take my chances with another cheapy
