  I opted to try this as it is one of the best known remedies for female menstrual problems. I use it (for endometriosis problems) and have given it to the dog too for similar thing. Too early to tell on me, but works wonders on the dog! (Despite being neutered over a decade ago she came into season - nothing the vet could do - this sorted it in a couple of weeks.) Slightly bitter/strong taste - best to take it diluted in a drink (like juice or water - I'd avoid anything hot in case that degrades it), but you could take the drops just as they are if you had to.
