  Gives some fairly instant relief. I take mebeverine but that takes longer to work. Or even paracetamol works sometimes.
  Obviously medication isn't the complete answer. Reduce stress, alter diet etc.
  I find useful when my ibs is keeping me awake as buscopan makes me sleepy.
  Cheaper on amazon than anywhere else especially on subscribe and save.
