I am a big fan of DAB (clock) radios, as if nothing else, they don't need the time setting. Plug it in, leave it for a couple of minutes, and it has picked up the time.
Setting the alarms is simple enough, and the device comes with a quickstart sticker on the top of it to say what buttons need to be pressed in what order to set the alarm(s); there are two of these.
I like the fact that the usb socket at the rear of the device can be used as an input (seriously, who does this?) or more usefully, as a charge outlet for your phone.
Sound quality is great; the clock is eminently readable in most, if not all, light conditions.
Minor gripes:
1. the buttons on the top of it are not especially logically laid out (at least for me), but you get used to them.
2. the telescopic antenna is not ideal. I would prefer one of the more common soft / flexible wire types, as I 've never come close to poking my eye out on one of those.... YMMV on where the antenna is, but mine has ended up vertical right next to where I would bend down for the plug sockets next to the bedside table. A little soft mascot on the top has removed this risk.
