  Saw quite a few negative reviews so wasn't sure if I should order this but I needed a set of drawers, didn't want MDF from Ikea and didn't want to break the bank with solid oak so decided to give this a try.
  
  Firstly the negative reviews are way over-done. It doesn't come broken or split. The wood is oiled but not varnished or waxed therefore if you want perfection you'd probably have to sand these down and give them a coat of clear varnish.
  
  Assembling is a nightmare. Instructions as per usual leave you with loads of screws and nails and you spend ages trying to find the correct corresponding bits and pieces. Assembly is a minimum of 2 hours maybe longer if DIY is not your thing. Also because the wood doesn't have a varnish there's a risk of splinters so might be a good idea to wear gloves. After assembly the finished drawers don't have splinters its just the internal pieces.
  
  Overall look for me was very good for the price. Looks good and is relatively sturdy. You get what you pay for these are reasonably priced, good looking drawers but not premium high quality which you shouldn't expect for this price anyway.
