  It does the job in a shower if you are careful. Mine slipped and fell, at which the battery burst open, exposing the innards directly to the streaming blast of water from the shower head. Batteries all over... Opps!
  
  Presumed DOA, it was removed sodden batteries binned and forgotten about all day. Out of interest I tried 3 fresh batteries in it in the evening and it burst into life. Pleasant very welcome surprise!
  
  It seems more resilient than it has right to be, but one note. Sony has bestowed the battery compartment with way over size pockets for the AA batteries(maybe an AA+ obese version is available soon?) and they can move around out of connection inside, making you think 'it's Dead Jim'.
  
  Some bluetack padding has kept our batteries snug and secure...
  Otherwise it's neat, compact and sounds OK, In a shower with the water streaming it's never going to be concert hall clarity sounds, is it?
