  I own a Malamute who loves spending every moment outdoors, although in the colder wetter weather he will sleep in our old brick shed, as long as the door is kept open for him. However, on freezing nights, I've always felt a little guilty even though I know he doesn’t mind the cold in the slightest. In an effort to make his shelter more comfortable, I purchased this heat lamp.
  
  After using the lamp for about a week, I'm pleased with the results. While it may not be as powerful as an electric heater, it certainly doesn't come close in terms of operating costs. The lamp effectively warms up the surrounding area, providing a noticeable improvement in my dog's shed.
  
  Functionally, the lamp is reliable, equipped with a decent-length cable and a hanging chain for easy installation. The bulb is protected by a metal cover and mesh underneath, offering some safeguard against light impacts, although I wouldn't expect it to withstand anything too forceful. Overall, it serves its purpose well and has proven to be a cost-effective solution for enhancing my Malamute's comfort during chilly nights.
