- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 July 2024I do like this air conditioner it is really does small kids bedroom. Set it to 21c on the thermostat job done all good kids sleep well. This uses not much electric about the same as a top end gaming pc. This is the 7000btu conditioner.
Now I am using this in a medium size lounge that windows face to the west. So heats up big time in the afternoon.
Yesterday was 32c had this unit for months waiting till the hot days arrived.
Setup easy started out 1pm 25c outside temp. I set the thermostat 22c. Once going it managed to reach 24.5 before it could maintain for sometime Then the temperature would just creep up slowly. It wasn’t able to keep up Which I found interesting. Air-conditioning put out a good amount of cold air.
I moved back from the states after 23 years and I’ve had all kinds of central air-conditioning systems, etc.. All kinds of failures over the years. And I would say the amount of cold air this puts out is comparable for sure with a Vent say in a room with my Central so it did surprise me it was struggling yesterday.
They bungalow. I am living in really doesn’t help like I said this room has double glazed windows west side facing it’s making it like a greenhouse.
I’ve used 3000 BTU Window units from Walmart when My central air would go out and No, definitely didn’t put out less air than this device.
Anyways, this wasn’t very expensive on ÍøÆغÚÁÏ. It would be perfect for nighttime use in our bedroom.
