I bought this Canon LiDE 110 a while ago now but feel I need to give this scanner a good review. So here are the good points: The scanner is powered via USB cable, so no messy mains power lead using a wall socket up. The software installs without a hitch, you're up and running in 5 minutes. Windows XP, 7 or 8, I tried them all. The part I like most is the way the scanner knows when something small is being scanned, like the size of a credit card, and auto-crops the image for you. Done and dusted in approximately 15 seconds on the standard setting.
It does what it is supposed to do without corrupting the image; much better than the Black Widow rubbish I had which didn't support Windows 7.
