The frame is robust and the metal holder for your wooded handle is substantial. The splash shield is also robust.
All of that is let down by the fact the roller will not turn freely enough. The frame grips the roller too tightly. There are nuts at either end but even when loosened the roller is still not freed. Matters are made worse by the fact grit from the levelling compound gets stuck between the roller/spacer/frame which adds to the roller jamming.
I note from some of the other comments this seems to be the case with this item.
I stopped using the roller as soon as I realised it was not functioning properly. I can well imagine a Self Levelling project being ruined where the roller is not doing what it should.
The maker should take note of this as it's spoiling an otherwise good deal.
