  Got two of these connected to a Raspberry Pi, one for ACARS and the other for ADS-B. Been operating solidly 24/7 since purchase. Really easy to get up and running too.
  
  Plugged in directly they operate too hot to touch but on a USB extension or 90 degree adaptor as I’m using, they’re not so bad but still run really hot. To be fair, even a standard USB memory stick runs really hot in a RPi.
