  I’ve used Miracle grow compost before with no problems. However the bag I purchased from this site was like a fine dust rather than compost. I used it anyway to replant our house plants. Just add some water, I thought. It will be fine. Next, all my house plants ( about 8 had Fungus Knats. Tiny flies that live in compost. Loads of them. They are usually found in unsterilised compost. I read that commercial compost is sterilised to avoid this. I wonder if my compost was very old and the sterilisation treatment had expired. We ended up throwing out all our indoor plants and 6 from Greenhouse. No more plants indoors after this horrible experience. Upon throwing out the remaining bag of compost, we noticed it was covered in the flies. I’ve never had this problem with compost from
  Other retailers. I would not buy from this site again. Safer with Wilkinson’s. 😡
