I love these tables! They have such a cute rustic design, and they're fairly solid too. The colour is a little off - the wood is duller in person - but I used wood finish and that seemed to do the trick.
I found them fairly simple to assemble apart from the corner screws (12 in total) because there were no holes to put them into - you had to use brute force, and since I have the muscle strength of a pancake, I had to get someone else to do them for me. Similarly, those black circles you see in the picture are like giant drawing pins - again, there are no holes for them, you just force them into the wood. They're not very strong though, so you'll probably find them bending a couple times before you actually manage to succeed. Just be careful, because there are no spares if you accidentally snap them.
The instructions are really good and clear, but I did find a few pieces of wood with extra or missing holes. Don't worry too much though, because the mess is hidden underneath and the end result still looks amazing.
I'd recommend varnishing your tables, simply because the wood seems to scratch easily - just remember to do that before you put in the little black circles though.
