  This item was smaller than I anticipated but it looks good and it does the job. The brightness setting is good. The 'lo' setting is ample for middle of the night time telling and I switch it off in the morning to save battery life. The discreet solar panels give this clock an economical bonus. There are light/snooze buttons on either side of clock which are useful particularly when you are reaching out in the night. Easy to use. Simple functions.
  My only grumble and it's a minor detail: I wish the digits had 24hr display instead of only 12hr clock.
  Despite this I am very pleased with this little clock.
