I wanted a fine scroll saw to cut detailed patterns in wood for welsh love spoons. this saw was totally useless for that task. once pressure is applied to the saw to cut the material be it wood or anything else for that matter the blades pull out or snap. getting a blade in is like one of those things you do at parties tapping your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time. it is such a trial the only way I managed in the end was to get another pair of hands to help . I know it can be done but w3hat a struggle on your own, you might get a ton of blades with the saw but I found them to be rubbish either pulling out of the saw or snapping . its less than a fiver so there is little point in returning it . I would not recommend if you want to keep your sanity or actually want to cut something. To add to this I tried to use it again yesterday and one of the tightening screws just snapped as I was trying to tighten it. I don't know what the alloys are that were used but as soft as butter. When are amazon going to start exercising a little quality control. I'm going to start paying with pay pal at least you can get your money back without any hassle.
