- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 August 2023Owning a Cobra bag for my monitor, I opted for the microphone stand bag in the hope it was of a similar quantity. First impressions are favourable, the material is solid enough and the zips seems to be well made.
I was dubious of it holding 4 stands, but was pleasantly surprised. I have a basic OnStage stand and 3 Beyer Dynamic hefty mic stands. The bag comfortably holds them all without worrying about the zips being over stressed due to space limits. Though the bag is now seriously heavy!
Time will tell as to the durability of the bag, but the monitor bag has withstood being used weekly, so fingers crossed the ability to be used when gigging is of a similar standard.
EDIT: Well two months in and I've had to downgrade my review. Carefully used and stored, the handles have given way at the seams, thankfully I heard the ripping sound so managed to avoid the bag crashing to floor and damaging the mic stands. Expected better quality than this, it hasn't been abused in any way.
EDIT 02: I contacted the seller, who were super helpful and organised a prompt refund. Whilst I'm disappointed in the product, I have to say the customer service from the seller was first class.
