  It's really quite strong and sturdy. Easy to move on its castors. We have it set to its full width, Across a King Size bed, and it is still strong. It has been used with laptops and a portable TV and DVD player - X Box etc. Late suppers in bed etc. On initial set-up it does need two people to hold the parts while you set them into to place and tighten things up.
  
  Overall. We are very pleased with our purchase. TY.
