- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 September 2017Firstly, this is the second time I am changing a mixer tap so I am not an experienced plumber. the tap looks nice but for me it didn't have an essential piece. I read other comments and none had this issue. Basically I need to order two 1/2" to 1/2" converters so I can connect it to the pipe. I was just replacing an old tap and I had not checked this so I had to undo all the work which wasn't easy.
I have just ordered "1/2" INCH THREAD PIPE CONNECTION MALE x MALE SCREWED NIPPLE" from ÍøÆغÚÁÏ now so I will update my comment if I was still unable to fix this. I think the previous tap and pipes were installed by homebase originally and I thought they should be UK standard.
Its guide is also very generic and was not written for this tap and contained generic information about similar taps and I didn't have all the pieces for those either.
Update 1: I have downgraded it to 1 star as one of its tap tails leaks. It is full of water mark as water stays on it.
Update 2: I have set it back to 3 stars as I figured the leak was my fault. I had to order a round shape base tap rather than this one so some sealants solved the problem.
