  Very comfortable weight and feel. Unlike my wood shaft axe, you do not need to worry about damaging it with an over strike. I was expecting more shock feed back than wood but never noticed any difference.
  I would advise wearing gloves in case it shatters (which I doubt it will) as fibre shards in skin is not fun.
  Overall great axe which I can see lasting for years.
