  I decided to purchase these speakers because of the stellar reviews that they received, which i can mostly relate to.
  Their industrial design is fantastic and they go with the rest of my system in a very simplistic manner.
  
  Starting off, at medium to high volumes with the base set to almost minimum, these sound fantastic. The problem is when not listening to sound, or playing sound in a low-medium volume, there is a very noticeable and headache inducing high pitched noise which leads me to turn them off which is most definitely not what I want!
  
  Secondly, When cranking the base port to medium-high, there is a very noticeable rattle coming from the sub woofer, which leads to a very uncomfortable listening experience if I'm not willing to give up the base.
  
  In order to try to fix the high pitched noise issue i did try to use a filtered port but it deemed to be useless. Would have like these speakers to be a part of my daily life but they seem to just look better than they perform.
