  Firstly I want to say that the materials and range of drawing/sketching stuff you get in this kit is great and I have loved using mine. A wonderful kit that gives you a range of stuff to explore either as a seasoned artist looking for a convenient kit to carry around, or a novitiate exploring different media.
  
  Being frugal and enjoying doing my research however, I have found near identical kits right down to re-branded boxes of willow charcoal and blue graphite pencils available on amazon for lower prices, in some cases up to less than half, some even coming complete with sketch pads.
  
  TL:DR a great set, but shop around unless you are particularly fond of the Castle Art brand.
