  I got a free SD card reader with my Kingston memory stick, and I have been trying desperately to find a neater looking solution for my desk but to no avail. This is the second reader I've tried now from a reputable brand and they are all 3 times slower than the free SD reader that came with the stick. I give up. I'll glue the cheap stick to my desk.
