The positive is that it gets really hot, and has a good tall chimney so smoke is not an issue. I love the design as it's like an indoor stove. However it's far too low to do anything than warm your feet, that's an issue. Having built a base for it to sit on its perfect but that adds another £100 to what was spent on the stove. Had I known that I may well of considered a different heater but as it is I'm happy and it is an excellent product, just do consider the height (or lack of it).
