  I needed a decent trowel for my first attempt at plastering a wall 6m sq. Before using it I lightly filed and emeried the edges (as advised on YouTube tutorials). It was perfectly flat and smooth. The handle was well designed , giving a comfortable grip. In my opinion, as a mature novice, the trowel performed well and I am pleased with the results. Good value tool and recommended.
