  I purchased pressed metal plates for a new car and got these holders because I did not want to drill the plates and I personally don't trust sticky pads for fitting, especially as the front plate had to go on to a curved bumper.
  They arrived promptly well packed in a cardboard box. They fit very simply with screws. The many holes should line up with existing holes in your bumper, but washers may be required depending on your screw size.
  When fitted, the plate slots in and the holder clips closed.
  I have covered 3000 miles since fitting and have had no problems so far.
