  The individual ports are separate allowing you to easily wire the two individually and then they click securely into the frame. This is a tough plastic and screws into a standard socket box.
  
  This is a cat 6 port but I wired it using a cat 5e cable without difficulty and am getting consistent speeds of 130 MBps
