  Got it for home use, yes it's a all plastic construction but for my purposes it's more than adequate and easy to use. You can sharpen a chain about 5 time so if you bought a chain every time it became blunt the price of the machine has paid for itself by the third sharpen it is a no brainer. The instructions recommend screwing it to a bench for stability I mounted it to a piece of 12mm plywood which is held by my B&D workmate it works a treat the cain was as sharp as when I bought it.
