  With a retractable handle with trigger it was difficult to use as it continually collapsed/retracted. But it did do the job and clean the carpet. I would not recomend for large areas and the handle does need a redesign. I had one of these by Bissel 40 years ago and found it great. Sadly the handle lets it down, no doubt trying to make it more compact but clearly leaving it very difficult to use!
