  These have a good bright light & could be useful. Problem is that if you leave them outside the batteries die very quickly, & I was using them in the summer with top quality batteries. I had 2 stored in my porch & the batteries lasted slightly longer. I know batteries are affected by the cold but I've had other types of lights that have drained the batteries far less. I wanted some lights for my garden & shed but not something that needs new batteries so frequently.
