  On a recent trip I was struggling to reach into a bag in the back of the car. (I was a passenger!)
  This now sits behind the drivers seat, and I can reach into it easily, for drinks, biscuits, sunglasses and anything else needed.
  It is an ideal size for us, but please check the size for yourself, as it may be too small for some.
