Unlike politicians who promise strength and stability, this feels like something to be relied on. It's easy to unfold and set to a suitable height. with a strong spring mechanism that's extremely unlikely to fly apart. It's currently supporting a quite chunky Alesis Recital keyboard without any problems. Put it this way: I'm happy to leave it standing in a room in which a large dog brushed past everything.
