- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 September 2024There is nothing not to like about this very versatile torch. It has a 4000mAH battery which will run the torch for hours. Up to 12 hours apparently using one of the low power settings. Obviously, brighter lights use more power so the torch will stay illuminated for less time. There are two lamps in the torch - A concentrated beam like a conventional torch on the end and a small floodlight on the face side. Om the opposite long side there is an on-off button which cycles between high and low power on each of the lamps in turn. There are also 4 little LEDs which represent how much power remains.
The torch is charged using a USB C lead, and when charged it can also function as a power bank. The torch can be hand held, there is a recessed hook on the rear face to suspend it. A magnetic button on the base means it can be attached to steel surfaces and as the lower part of the torch is hinged upon the upper this means the light can be angled as required. This hinge also acts to allow the torch to stand upright on a more or less horizontal surface.
There are so many situations in which this torch will be very useful. One slight improvement I can imagine making to it would be a fitting to attach a lanyard. Another suggestion would be a flashing red light for emergencies. However, this should have a separate and ideally guarded on-off switch. Otherwise, for me, this torch is near perfection.
