Like a lot the boomer generation I first got this more or less at the time of it's time of release in the 1970s but it has long since disappeared and probably found its way into various record fairs dotted around the country.

So I opted for this brand new, sealed copy on 180g vinyl which comes in a gatefold sleeve complete with replica posters and stickers and took myself back 50 years in time.

Even on my bog-standard Steepletone Music Centre the sound quality is very good with no background clicks or hiss etc. In fact nearly as good as the sound one would get from a CD.

The content of DSOM itself needs no introduction as anyone who has even the slightest interest in progressive rock music will know this album off by heart and be aware of it's huge influence going back decades.

And at a price of under £20 it's a bargain.
