  Surprisingly sturdy. I was expecting the pair of trestles to be quite rocky. I used the trestles to sand and trim three edges of a door. I placed the door on the trestles and after moving the legs around a flat surface was creating without rocking. I did this on uneven surfaces too and with a little adjustment a stable platform was created.
  
  I now plan to use the trestles to paint the door too. For relatively small investment of around £30 I have been able to trim and hang a door myself saving hundreds. Great investment !
  
  Folds out and and folds up quite easily also.
  
  Only slight room for improvement, I was hoping the black material on the facing surface would be more grippy.
